'Sorrowful Bear' is taken from our musical The King Of All Polar Bears. Whilst it's an integral song within the musical, it can also be sung effectively as a stand alone song in its own right – and used, in this instance, to sing about the sorry state that polar bears are finding themselves in because of sea ice melt due to climate change and global warming.
Sing it with children to raise awareness of the plight of polar bears. It's a beautiful song, very evocative of the magical landscape of the Arctic, and it's really atmospheric.
