'Spiky Hedgehogs!' is a perfectly prickly action song for EYFS and infant children - and anyone who is young at heart! It's great to sing at any time of year, but it's especially lovely to sing about hedgehogs during Hedgehog Awareness Week, in springtime as hedgehogs are waking up from their winter hibernation, or in autumn as they are preparing to hibernate. Singing it is a wonderful way to help raise hedgehog awareness with children - and their audiences, too.
